  • Date: 2010-Mar-05. ****Time: 20:51**** Location: McKnight Blvd and Centre St (northbound right after left turned onto it) intersection.***** Description: The Neon made an illegal double solid yellow line left turn attempted to turn onto 7-11 parking lot right after left turning onto Centre St northbound from McKnight Blvd eastbound and caused a chain reaction accident. My car was rear ended but sustained no damage. Impact point was on the hitch. The car behind me had a hitch imprint on the bumper. Everyone was all right. I did go over to 7-11 parking lot to get the Neon's plate and ask, resulted in argument, the female driver to go over where we were parked and wait for police to arrive. The lady rear ended me had children in the backseat. The Neon driver at least should have the decency to go check if everyone was all right instead of denying to have caused the chain reaction due to her illegal double yellow line left turn right after turning at an intersection. ****************************** The Neon driver later came by when the police to talk to the police. ****************************** The stupid thing here is that the Neon somehow was not at fault. The officer told me had I had rear ended the Neon, I would be at fault.   • A little after 10:00 AM on Friday March 5, 2010 westbound on SW Marine Drive west of Granville Street you were observed rapidly accelerating and cutting off a compact SUV that was merging into the left lane. You need to calm down and not use your car as a weapon in some sort of misguided vigilante effort to prevent someone from merging in front of you. You obviously were in a state of road rage as you had no reason to gun past the SUV which had plenty of space in front of you to merge into and since you were turning south onto Barnard Street anyway you had nothing to gain neither. Calm down, and don't give others who wear you uniform a bad name by going "postal" on the roads.

  • 2010-Mar-03 at 17:50 on Sandstone Dr playground zone. The Lexus was speeding through the zone until the driver had to right turn onto Sanderling Rise going downhill to his home somewhere down the hill. This is repeat offender. Every time I see this car, he is speeding only to slow down when approaching the right turn.

    I've posted on this site and after too many errors logging in, went to aother site, where I made several posts.

     I have a hunch that my plate will end up in here one day. Why? I drive the speed limit. I actually STOP at Stop signs. I signal my turns. I obey the lights. And for lots of reasons--I don't want a ticket, sure; but the rules are for a reason and I am often in the car with my family. I drive safely to protect them more than anything. Can you imagine, "slow driver" will be what they say about mine :P

    In todays News1130 news story, they tell us that the Canadian Worst Driver series which is on the Discovery Channel  is returning to Vancouver.  For the last two years, the worst driver is from Vancouver.  Producers of the show ay they aren't sure why but Vancouver just seems to have some dreadful drivers.
